The Canelo Cowboy Church is a Community based Southern Baptist Church affiliate and our beliefs are simple, Bible based beliefs. They are as follows:
- Jesus Christ: Jesus was born of a virgin, and, as God, He lived and walked among men. He was crucified and was resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God the Father.
- Trinity: We believe in a Triune God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Belief in Jesus Christ and His shed blood is the only way to Heaven.
- Baptism: We believe in baptism by immersion after you are saved. Immersion is baptism by complete submersion of the person in water.
- Bible: The Bible is the infallible Word of God, and, through its study, we can find every answer for every question we have. Through this study of His Word we can enter into a relationship with Him, not a religion, a relationship.
- Eternity: We believe that Christ is coming again when He will catch His bride (the Church) away to spend eternal life with Him. Those that do not know Christ will spend eternity in hell, separated from Christ.
