Step by Step Mentoring Ministry
Spiritual growth through friendship:
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work.”
What is the Mentoring Ministry?
It is a ministry for women of all ages based on Titus 2:3-5. It is a ministry that intentionally develops friendships among women of different generations. Women invest in the lives of each other through encouragement, guidance, listening, laughing and loving. The goal is to form strong and lasting relationships that are a source of support, growth and strength. the goal of the Women’s Mentoring Ministry is to bring women to an understanding of who they are in Christ (Spiritual maturity) that He might be glorified, and equip them to serve in the church and community. Life experiences represent the primary credentials of a mentor who understands the opportunity God gives them to invest what He has taught them throughout their lives into the lives of younger women. Their practical knowledge gleaned from life experiences provides perspective and wisdom for a younger woman. The younger woman ministers to and cares for the older woman as well. They encourage one another to depend upon God, not upon the relationship.
Every week young at heart couples get together to learn from God’s word. Studies have varied from marriage and family to studies through New Testament books. This is a time of encouragement and community building! For more information, contact Nick Robbs.
We meet twice a month at Sonoita Bible Church. The purpose is to bring the youth of the community together to learn about God and to build Godly relationships with other youth. Youth join us from Elgin, Sonoita, Patagonia, Corona de Tucson, and Vail. Ages are for 12 to 18 (When your child turns 12 they may start attending). We have a Bible study first and fun activities that follow. Email Cisco Baez for more information.

Every Sunday during church, we provide an opportunity for preschool and under children to join us for a Bible lesson. The allows both the child and parents to focus on learning what God is teaching us every Sunday. For more information contact Nancy Stiffey.
This event is an opportunity for fathers and grandfathers to spend time with their sons and teach them on being Godly men. We generally will start with breakfast at 8 am, followed by a Bible Study and then some archery and gun shooting. For more information email David Stiffey.
